Description

The innuPREP Plasmid DNA Mini Kit offers fast and simple isolation of plasmid DNA from 1 – 5 ml bacterial cultures. The DNA extraction process combines the alkaline lysis followed by clarification of the lysate and subsequent binding of plasmid DNA direct on the surface of a Spin Filter. After washing steps the plasmid DNA is eluted in low-salt buffer. The isolated plasmid DNA is ready to use for further downstream applications.

The plasmid DNA miniprep takes only 16 minutes.

The binding capacity of the innuPREP plasmid columns is approximately 25 μg of plasmid DNA. The typical yield of a high copy plasmid from 2 ml culture 6 – 14 μg
