Description

TaKaRa Ex Taq Hot Start (HS) DNA Polymerase offers the same high performance as the standard TaKaRa Ex Taq including high yield, excellent sensitivity, and fidelity 4.5X better than Taq Polymerase, along with the advantages of hot-start: lower background, increased specificity, and room temperature reaction assembly.

Ex Taq HS DNA Polymerase includes a monoclonal antibody which binds to the Ex Taq polymerase and prevents nonspecific PCR amplification due to mispriming and/or formation of primer dimers during reaction assembly. In the initial PCR DNA-denaturation step the antibody is then denatured, releasing the polymerase and allowing DNA synthesis to proceed.
