Description

Taq Full DNA polymerase is available with or without a hot start antibody. Clontech’s hot start system blocks polymerase activity during the PCR reaction set-up (2). It is quickly inactivated at the onset of thermal cycling, thus preventing the formation of primer-dimers and other artifacts of low-level synthesis prior to thermal cycling. Clontech’s hot start system therefore allows for higher specificity and promotes the best qualities of Taq Full DNA polymerase.
