TaKaRa Taq (recombinant Taq DNA Polymerase)
TaKaRa Taq polymerase is a recombinant, thermostable, 94 kDa DNA polymerase encoded by the DNA polymerase gene of the Thermus aquaticus YT-1 strain which has been cloned into Escherichia coli. It has been shown to have essentially the same characteristics as the native Taq DNA polymerase.
