TOptical Real-Time PCR instrument
The TOptical Thermocycler is based on the reliable Biometra Tprofessional thermocycler and provides excellent temperature uniformity and high speed. This is due to the excellent heat conductivity of the silver block with maximum heating and colling rates of 6 and 4.5 degrees per second, respectively.
Excitation of fluorophores by three long-living LEDs allows real-time PCR with high specificity and low detection limits. By the intuitive, easy-to-use software the system can be operated also by users with limited real-time PCR experience.
The TOptical can be equipped with up to 6 excitation and emission filters of choice. Filters for commonly used dyes are available covering a broad wavelength spectrum. The filters are easily interchangeable keeping the instrument open for versatile QPCR applications and future adaptations.
