Tet-On and Tet-Off Advanced Inducible Gene Expression Systems
The New Tet-On and Tet-Off Advanced Systems offer significant improvements over the original Tet inducible systems:
1) Virtual elimination of background expression
2) More rapid gene induction
3) 10-fold lower levels of Doxycycline inducer can be used
4) More consistent production of Tet-On stable host cell lines with high inducibility.
The Tet-On and Tet-Off Advanced Inducible Gene Expression Systems enable you to regulate gene expression in a precise, reversible, and dose-dependent manner. The Tet Systems respond to varying concentrations of tetracycline (Tc) or derivatives, such as doxycycline (Dox), allowing you to tightly control the expression of a target gene.
The Tet Advanced Systems provide higher expression levels than are obtainable with popular constitutive promoters, such as the CMV promoter. The high levels of expression also make the Tet Systems an excellent expression system for production and purification purposes.
Achieve up to 10,000-fold induction with tight control. You can study expression over a broad range of induction levels for comprehensive analysis.
Express toxic genes. Tight on and off control permits stable transfection and expression of toxic genes.
