Description

Lentiviral delivery allows you to stably express your gene of interest as a fluorescent fusion in virtually any cell type including neuronal cells, stem cells and terminally differentiated cells.

Clontech’s fluorescent monomer proteins are ideal tools for monitoring gene expression, transduction efficiencies, subcellular localization and intracellular protein trafficking of your protein of interest.

The use of Living Colors® DsRed-Monomer and AcGFP1 as fusion tags has been validated with a wide variety of proteins with diverse functions and subcellular locations. Both are very well tolerated by mammalian cells, and have been successfully used to create long-term stably transfected, clonal cell lines. Like all Living Colors® Fluorescent Proteins, they can be detected in cells without adding cofactors or substrates, making them valuable, noninvasive tools for investigating biological events in living cells.
