Description

The Retro-X System provides a complete kit to efficiently produce infectious, replication-incompetent retrovirus that can be used to introduce a gene of interest into a wide variety of mammalian cell types in vitro or in vivo. The highly efficient transduction machinery of retroviruses can stably integrate a cloned gene into the host genome of nearly all dividing cells.

The Retro-X System includes three retroviral expression vectors derived from Moloney murine leukemia virus and the RetroPack PT67 Packaging Cell Line.

pLNCX2 and pLXSN are basic retroviral vectors which allow you to clone and express your gene of interest from promoters of different strengths. pLAPSN is a control reporter vector expressing bacterial alkaline phosphatase.
