Description

Retro-X Living Colors Fusion Vectors
These retroviral vectors allow the expression of fluorescent fusion proteins in difficult-to-transfect cells, and include a puromycin selection marker for selection of stable integrants. They express either monomeric green AcGFP1 or monomeric DsRed-Monomer fluorescent protein. When cloned into the multiple cloning site the gene of interest is translated as a fusion to the N-terminus or C-terminus of the fluorescent protein.

IRES Fluorescent Bicistronic Expression Vectors
The Retro-X™ IRES Vectors are designed to efficiently coexpress your gene of interest with our brightest red (DsRed-Express) or green (ZsGreen1) fluorescent markers. Production of bicistronic transcripts that contain an internal ribosome entry site (IRES) allows independent translation of two proteins from a single transcript.
