Prestained Protein Markers for Odyssey Prestained Protein Markers for Odyssey

Description

The IRDye Two-Color (680/800) Protein Marker is designed to provide a ladder of convenient and consistent protein sizes (7.5-250 kDa) for use with polyacrylamide gels and on Western membranes. In gels and on membranes, the marker serves as a fluorescent marker visible in the 700 and 800 nm channels on the Odyssey family of imagers. The marker can also be viewed in grayscale in both channels.

Dependent on load volume, the IRDye Two-Color (680/800) Protein Marker can act as a prestained marker in gels, and be used to visualize the progress of the protein separation during electrophoresis and to determine the molecular weight of unknown proteins.

The IRDye (680/800) Protein Marker contains 12 proteins ranging in size from 7.5 – 250 kDa. The Marker is supplied ready to use, with no dilution or reconstitution required.

One-Color Molecular Weight Markers fluoresce in the 700 nm channel of the Odyssey Infrared Imaging System and contain ten protein bands of 10, 15, 20, 25, 37, 50, 75, 100, 150, and 250 kD, with molecular weight shifts of 5% and minimal band broadening.
