Description

The new and improved Universal His Western Blot Kit 2.0 includes a highly effective background reducer that works in tandem with our specific, cobalt-based TALON technology to deliver extremely high sensitivity, with very low background. It detects proteins with his-tags with high specificity, even in crude cell lysates (see image).

The kit detects all polyhistidine-based tags on Western blots, including 6xHis, HAT, and 6xHN. Because the Universal His-Detection Reagent binds to all polyhistidine tag variants.

The Universal His Western Blot Kit 2.0 allows you to detect as little as 0.5 ng of his-tagged protein after 10 minutes, a level of sensitivity that is higher than the HisDetector™ or HisProbe™-HRP Kits. Detection is also extremely fast: in just 10 seconds, it detected as little as 5 ng of 6xHis-GFP.
