Rat Osteoblasts (Clonetics™)

Clonetics™ Rat Calvariae Osteoblasts are dissociated from Sprague Dawley rat embryos. Cells are cryopreserved at dissection and each vial of osteoblasts contains ≥ 0.35 million viable cells. Rat osteoblasts will undergo at least 12 population doublings. Every cell lot is tested for the ability to form mineralized nodules. 

These cells offer an excellent model system for the study of osteoblastic growth and mineralization and can be used in research applications for bone disease, repair and formation.
