Low Input Library Prep Kit V2 and HT
- Sensitive: use only 50 pg - 20 ng dsDNA
- Fast: library ready in 2 hours
- Easy single-tube, three-step protocol
- Compatible with Illumina sequencers
The Low Input Library Prep Kits provides a highly sensitive, simple, fast (2 hour), and robust protocol for converting fragmented, double-stranded DNA (dsDNA) into a sequencing-ready library for the Illumina® platform. They use a single-tube, three-step protocol for each barcoded sample and eliminates intermediate purification steps. The Low Input Library Prep Kits enable efficient ligation-based library preparation from 50 pg to 20 ng of starting dsDNA.
With the v2 version you can prepare up to 12 indexed libraries. The HT version allows up to 96 indexed library preparations. These kits replace the original Low Input Library Prep Kit (Cat. # 634947) , which is being phased out
Ideal companion to SMARTer and SMART-Seq Ultra Low Kits
Use the Low Input Library Prep Kit v2 to convert the cDNA output from SMART-Seq Ultra Low kits or the SMARTer Universal Low Input RNA Kit for Sequencing into sequencing templates suitable for cluster generation and high-throughput sequencing.
