Strand-specific RNA-Seq data
The kit offers >99% accurate strand identification for each read. This makes the SMARTer Stranded RNA-Seq Kit an excellent choice for most RNA-Seq applications, including antisense transcript and noncoding RNA identification, and for identifying the source of overlapping reads, such as reads from closely spaced or overlapping genes, from closely related genes, or from prokaryotic organisms.
Excellent data with low RNA input
The kit provides very high quality data and outperforms existing methods in transcript coverage, reproducibility, mappability and ERCC correlation.
Performance is robust even when starting with very low amounts of total RNA. You can also use partially degraded RNA, such as RNA from FFPE or laser microdissected (LCM) samples. Learn more here.

The SMARTer Stranded RNA-Seq Kit contains all required reagents, including SMARTScribe Reverse Transcriptase and the new SeqAmp polymerase optimized for this application.
