The SMARTer Universal Low Input RNA Kit for Sequencing was developed for generating libraries for transcriptome analysis (RNA-seq) from very low amounts of total RNA that is either compromised, has low RIN values, or lack polyA tails.

The technology works with as little as 200 pg of rRNA-depleted total RNA and is ideal for analyzing FFPE and laser-captured samples. Now you can generate high-quality RNA sequencing data starting from only 2 ng total RNA.

The kit ensures whole transcriptome coverage without 5' or 3' bias, and yields excellent reproducibility, mappability, and ERCC correlation. The total time required to generate libraries for transcriptome profiling from total RNA is just two days.
