Formaldehyde and Glyoxal Buffers
These ready-to-use RNA loading buffers are used for denaturation of RNA samples for RNA electrophoresis. Our RNA Sample Buffers are prepared using the highest quality reagents and are guaranteed RNAase free. These solutions are ideal for use with our ReliantĀ® and LatitudeĀ® RNA Precast Gels and Analysis Kits.
Glyoxal Sample Buffer
Glyoxal efficiently denatures RNA by introducing an additional ring into the guanosine residues thus interfering with the G-C base pairing. Glyoxal denaturation is ideal for Northern Blotting and should not be used if RNA samples are to be recovered. Glyoxal sample buffer contains Glyoxal and DMSO in MOPS Buffer. Supplied in 1.7 ml vials.
Formaldehyde Sample Buffer
Formaldehyde denaturation is suitable when samples are to be recovered from agarose gels. Our Formaldehyde Sample Buffer contains formaldehyde, formamide, and tracking dyes in MOPS Buffer. Supplied in 1.0 ml vials.
