PrimeSTAR GXL DNA Polymerase is the most robust high-fidelity PCR enzyme available. It offers high yield, high specificity, and high accuracy, not only for standard reactions, but also in GC-rich PCR, Long PCR (up to 30 kb) and in the presence of eXcess DNA template.
PrimeSTAR GXL DNA Polymerase is a combination of a modified PrimeSTAR HS enzyme and an elongation factor which together provide unsurpassed processivity.
PrimeSTAR GXL DNA Polymerase has outstanding performance in reactions containing excess nucleic acid. Other enzymes are inhibited by such high amounts of DNA in a reaction mix. The superior processivity of PrimeSTAR GXL DNA Polymerase prevents such inhibition by excess nucleic acid, resulting in a much higher success rate for PCR with minimal optimization of conditions required.
