IRDye fluorescent dyes have absorption and emission wavelengths in the NIR spectrum, between 680 and 800 nm. Most of the IRDye reagents are compatible with the Odyssey® CLx, Odyssey Fc, and Pearl® Imagers.
IRDye 680RD secondary antibodies are the most universally applicable antibodies for the 700 nm channel and are available in the following forms: NHS ester, maleimide, carboxylate, DBCO,azide, alkyne, secondary antibody conjugates, and inlabeling kits.

Choose IRDye 680RD secondary antibodies to get low background and for general use when detecting in the 700nm channel. Start using IRDye 680RD first over other 700 nm dyes. Dilution working range 1:10,000 – 1:40,000.
Small animal imaging with IRDye 680RD
Enhance and optimize your animal imaging by using IRDYe 680RD in combination with our Pearl small animal imaging system. IRDye 680RD has the lowest background compared to LI-COR’s other 700 nm dyes and is therefore ideal for animal imaging.
In addition, it can be used for the widest variety of applications with little optimization. The NHS ester and maleimide forms of this infrared dye are ideal for labeling proteins, peptides, and antibodies.
